Torgah holds 8-shot lead after 54 holes

Vincent Torgah had his highest round and still kept 8-shot lead with a 1-under 71 at the FCT Classic, 205 for the tournament. The Ghanaian had 4 birdies and a double-bogey on the third round of the tournament at IBB International Golf and Country Club in Abuja, Nigeria. A victory on Friday will be his third consecutive since the beginning of the 2019 African Tour season last february.

 

Starting the day tied for third, Nigerian Gift Willy opened with an eagle on hole 2 par 5, added four birdies and delivered the best round of the day, 3-under 69 to move to solo second.

 

Mohamed Liman got off to his best round of the tournament 2-under 70 and move from a tie for eighth to a tie for third alongside Emos Korblah, who sit at 1-under and Sunday Olapade who finished at 3-over. All of them at 218 for the tournament.
